Panasonic AG-CX10 Review: A Highly Portable Little Wonder Of A Camera

Panasonic's AG-CX10 might be absolutely tiny, but as Ned Soltz discovers, it's full of potential. With a basic camera weighing just under 2 pounds or 3 pounds with top handle and battery, the Panasonic AG-CX10 is the epitome of a 4K 60p compact powerhouse for ENG, documentary, streaming, blogging and just generally on the run video. It has potential as a significant tool for TV news with its miniP2 1080 10 bit recording to MXF files or for documentary with up to 4K 60P in either AVC or H.265 compression at up to 4:2:2 10 bit.

     
     
 
Ateme completes acquisition of Anevia

Ateme has completed its acquisition of Anevia, purchasing 87 per cent of the OTT and IPTV software provider. Ateme announced in July that it has entered into negotiations to take control of Anevia, stating that the transaction had the prior unanimous support of the boards of directors of both companies.

     
     
 
Dalet Galaxy xCloud will support France Televisions remote workflows

Dalet, provider of solutions and services for broadcasters and content professionals, has announced that France Televisions has subscribed to Dalet Galaxy xCloud to enable critical news workflows from home when needed. Hosted by Dalet, the SaaS-based offering is a full-featured version of the latest Dalet Galaxy five platform that leverages the cloud to facilitate end-to-end, remote news production workflows. Once fully rolled-out, Dalet Galaxy xCloud gives France Televisions the flexibility to support the remote work requirements of its 300 plus journalists.
