TVU Networks to provide remote production support for Qatar 2022

TVU Networks will be providing 5G transmitters, live pool feeds, and its TVU Anywhere mobile app for broadcasters covering the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November. The company plans to offer exclusive, rights-cleared live shots of Qatar via its TVU MediaSource content licence agreement.

ITV to stage two-hour Concert for Ukraine

Broadcasters ITV and STV are joining with the Disasters Emergency Committee’s (DEC) humanitarian appeal in a two-hour fundraiser concert in support of the humanitarian appeal in Ukraine. When Russia invaded Ukraine, the management team at Cinegy decided to drive 3,000 kilometre to bring members of the team and their families back to Munich. NBC Sports Utilizes Calrec Audio Workflows For Its Production Of Olympic Winter Games

For the first time ever, NBC Sports will employ fully remote audio workflows for all its production of the Winter Games, with no audio consoles physically on-site at the event. NBC Sports will have four Calrec RP1 Remote Production cores in the International Broadcast Center (IBC) in Beijing to cover numerous studios. Full control for the IBC remote production cores will be provided on Artemis consoles based at NBC Sports’ International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.

     
     
 
Cinegy provides backbone for Telstra’s playout service

Telstra Broadcast Services has signed a deal with Cinegy to employ the company’s products, including Cinegy Air, as the backbone of its playout service offering.
