EVS Unveils X-One Live Production System

EVS has introduced a new product to its line of live production systems, the X-One all-in-one toolset. The X-One is capable of handling live productions that require six cameras or less. Built with EVS’ software-defined technology, a single operator can control the production from the system’s touchscreen.

     
     
 
AEQ Presents Its New Products At The IBC2017 Show

XenData Debuts CX-10 Hybrid Cloud Storage Appliance

XenData is providing consumers with a storage system that manages files both on-premises and in the cloud with the launch of its CX-10 Appliance. The hybrid file appliance manages a single system across two storage tiers: 10TB of on-premises RAID and unlimited Microsoft Azure blob storage. Timeline Television To Showcase IP 4K HDR OB Truck At IBC2017

Snell Advanced Media (SAM) has announced that Timeline Television's newest OB truck – the first IP 4K HDR truck in Europe – will be featured on its stand at IBC 2017. The truck, UHD2, seamlessly handles fully uncompressed 4K/UHD, IP and HDR.

     
     
 


Vocas announced new unique MFC-3 follow focus system with no transmission between the focus knob and the drive gear making it 100% playless! The system is designed to support a range of cameras such as Canon EOS 5D, Panasonic GH5, AU-EVA1, and more. The new Vocas MFC-3 Follow Focus systems will be on display at this year's IBC show on Vocas stand 12.D56.

     
     
 
LYNX Technik Makes 12G SDI for 4K a Reality at IBC 2017

Ultra high definition (UHD) requires a system that can transfer data at a rate of 12 Gbps, over a single coaxial cable or optical fiber. At IBC, LYNX Technik will be showcasing its 12G SDI portfolio that is optimized for 4k Ultra HD broadcast applications and video processing. The three new products expand LYNX Technik’s existing 12G SDI technology platform, which currently include fiber transmitters, receivers and transceivers.

     
     
 
PHABRIX Announce IBC2017 Showcase

PHABRIX will launch SMPTE 2110 IP signal generation and analysis instruments for its Qx range, along with enhanced HDR visualization capabilities and strengthened support for audio generation, plus moving test patterns. The new IP decapsulation/encapsulation option for the Sx TAG portable range will also be debuted at IBC2017, along with 2K-SDI monitoring and a more versatile, dual instrument display with the Rx 2000 rackmount generator/analyser.

     
     
 
Calrec Finds Spot on F&F Productions’ GTX-18 Truck

F&F Productions’ GTX-18 4K HDR production truck has enlisted Calrec Audio’s Artemis Beam system to provide the sound for its productions. The truck rolled into Anaheim, California, last week for its first show, a UHD broadcast of the UFC fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier for AT&T Entertainment/DirecTV viewers.

     
     
 
Sony Release (Fixed) FS5 Firmware v4.02

Sony recently pulled their latest firmware 4.0 and 2.0 for their PXW-FS5 and Z150 respectively, due to some issues with shooting HLG in camera. The good news, is that just earlier today, Sony released a fixed version of the firmware – now called firmware version 4.02 and v2.02 for the two cameras in question.
