The new Omneon Spectrum HD media server combines high-quality HD playout capability with flexible features to allow facilities to efficiently migrate to HD broadcasting. HD MediaPort playout modules can support one or two channels of HD MPEG playout of 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 material at bit rates up to 78 Megabits per second, beyond that of any other media server available today.
